Culen Tool provides precision metal stampings in a full range of materials that includes ferrous, non-ferrous, and even plastics.  We can also design and build tooling for outside use.  Our expansive warehouse facility enables Culen Tool to fulfill a wide range of customized delivery and packaging requirements – including blanket orders, JIT, ship-to-stock, consignment and other time released shipment programs, all while maintaining excellent on-time delivery.  We can ship in cartons, fiber barrels, reusable containers or in boxes that go directly to your customer.

Our quality assurance program monitors your order every step of the way. Material heat-treating and plating certification, along with fully documented dimensional inspection reports, can accompany all shipments.

About Stephen Culen

President of Culen Tool & Mfg., Stephen Culen, has been a tool and die maker since 1980 when he graduated from the Tool & Die Institute. Throughout his career he has also worked in injection molding as well as a programming and running CNC machinery.  He established Culen Tool in 1997.

In addition to his professional experience, Stephen has been on the local library board since 1992.  He is also an active contributor to the Chicago brewing community and Guitar Enthusiast.  He holds memberships in the Chicago Beer Society, a few home brewing clubs and helps out as an organizer for the Illinois Craft Brewer Guild.  When he is not critiquing craft beers, he can be found practicing on one of his many guitars.
